Why is this plugin not using hydra.nvim?

Hi thank you for creating such an interesting plugin. Something that I cannot figure out by reading this plugin is, eventhough it said it has combined nvim-dap with hydra.nvim, but I don't see hydra.nvim in the codebase. I wonder why hydra.nvim is not used, but the hydra mode logic is created in this plugin again?

This plugin doesn't use hydra.nvim because the logic required from there was easily replicated in just 100 loc and you have full control over it. One may already try to add a submode for debug using hydra.nvim, so I added a reference to it in the hope it will help better understand what this plugin is trying to be. I guess the description is really a bit misleading :)
