What parts of Modrinth is your feature request related too?
Modrinth.com website
Is your suggested feature related to a problem? Please describe.
There are many projects (modpacks, datapacks, etc.) that lack in-depth wikis (or any external information at all) or have an abbreviated list of features, which makes it difficult to determine everything that the project introduces. This also makes it easy for people to miss out on projects that they would have otherwise interacted with.
Describe the solution you'd like
Modrinth could detect what each project modifies during the review process and assign technical tags based on that (banner patterns, armour trims, world generation, loot tables, mob behaviour, etc.). This would allow players to browse specifically by the tag they are interested in, which is very convenient.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Edit: I suppose the alternative would be custom tags, so the creators themselves could at the very least add the relevant tags and allow other people to discover their projects based on that.
Additional context
For example, I'm working on a resourcepack that upscales shield textures to be consistent with banners, but I have no information on which Mods add banner patterns without having to either look up their wikis (most of which lack that info anyways), or go into their communities (which may or may not be active) or download each mod and extract the jar to individually check if they add banner patterns or not. All of this is obviously pretty painstaking; this technical tag feature would cut my load by a lot, and would be especially helpful for others as well.
