This PR updates the Phase-1 extraction defaults to prefer the Docling backend, increases document batching for better throughput, and adds a runtime warning about potential native crashes (e.g. core dumps) when using Docling with batching.
The changes aim to improve performance while making backend behavior and stability trade-offs more explicit to users.
