How to test 🧪

Prerequisites

(How to setup test environment)

• use iam account + IAM Delegation flag is disabled
• use child account + IAM Delegation flag is enabled

Reproduction steps

(How to reproduce the issue, if applicable)

Note: try different variations with the same entities + multiple entities etc.

For child account:

• Go to http://localhost:3000/iam/roles/defaults/roles
• Assign the same entity to linode_admin and linode_contributor.
• Try to change the role for linode_admin to linode_contributor for that same entity.
• Save changes.

For iam account or child account:

• Go to http://localhost:3000/iam/users/username/roles
• Assign the same entity to linode_admin and linode_contributor.
• Try to change the role for linode_admin to linode_contributor for that same entity.
• Save changes.

Verification steps

• Payload should have a unique roles per entity
